| Gaming Laptop or Low-end Laptop & Gaming Desktop? | | So I have been wanting to build a gaming computer, and I recently totalled my laptop so I need to replace that. My question is, should I buy a high-end gaming laptop, or a low-end laptop for mobile stuff and build a high-end desktop for gaming? Either way it will be around the same price from my estimates. My limit is about $2300-$2500 I can build a gaming desktop for about $1500 or less, and buy a low-end laptop for $500-$800. So thats right at my limit. I can buy a gaming laptop that is good enough for the games I want to play for about $1900-$2500. So again, about where my limit is. I really only used my old laptop for surfing, programming, etc. Nothing that needs gaming hardware. I want somthing to game on, though, and getting a gaming laptop would be awesome, and nice for mobile gaming for LAN Parties and such, but the hardware wouldn't be as good as a gaming desktop. I just don't know what to do, so I'm asking for help. Which would be better to do?

| What do you like and dislike most about your laptop? | | I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, and I really like it. It has a wide screen that is ideal for watching movies, and a very stylish look to it. There's also and integrated webcam and microphone. I'm not sure how long the battery life is since I always have it on the charger. But, the rare times I do not have it hooked up, it seems to last fairly well if the settings are properly adjusted to power saver. I don't really like the quick launch buttons at above the keyboard since they do not respond all the time. They're not regular buttons but just like a touch pad type thing. The sound isn't always as loud as I want it to be, but usually I'll just hook it up to different speakers if this happens. Lastly, it's not meant to be lightweight for business of college so I don't carry it around too much. What are the pros and cons of your laptop? | |
| | Laptop or playstation? | | many members on mylot wrote about gaming laptop,i am against having laptop just for gaming,i think playstation suits games more than laptops, lap should be used for other purposes as internet, programming, business, researching and other important feilds rather than games.
What do u think about this?I know that some ppl may disagree with me but we both may be right. | |
