| Why is it some people simply hate Dell computers? | | I personally hate them from an upgrade stand point. The bottom of the line ones don't offer very much as far as extra slots for add on cards.Also they don't use the universal atx power supply so if you need to replace it you have to order a special one.They also seem to be slow compared to the custom built gaming machines I'm use to.But they are fine if you want to check e-mail. | |
| | Do you prefer a Branded PC or a custom built one? | | I prefer a custom built one. Mine is. Here in the Philippines, a custom built pc is cheaper than the branded ones. Plus, it's built to your own specifications. My pc has pentium 4 dual core processor, an asus motherboard, 512ddr2 memory, tv tuner and a 19 inch lcd. I only got it for $700. A branded pc with the same specifications without the tv tuner would have cost me $800. Which do you prefer and what kind of pc is yours? | |

| Can you not custom build a Gateway computer online anymore? | | i went to gateway.com site and i have always custom built my pc's from them but i havent bought one in forever.. i go there today and i dont see any where you can go on the site to custom build them anymore.. am i missing it or did they stop that?? please tell me it isnt so!! lol | |

I love it it's been a great computer i've had it for like 3 yrs now & not had any problems out of it. I did have to replace the cord once though because the back of it where it plugs into the computer was loose. but i move it all over the place so i'm sure that was my fault lol. | |
