Get the inside scoop on Social Networking now!| Have you ever purchased computer equipment from the Dollar Store before? | | I was in need of a computer microphone for a particular application. I was considering purchasing a Koss SB-45 headset. I was looking on Amazon.com where they are selling them for a decent price at roughly $28, but I decided to look around to see if I could make do with a cheaper alternative. After scowering online, I couldn't find anything with a good review comparable to the Koss SB-45 headset. While doing some grocery shopping, I decided to check out the dollar store to see what they had to offer. I ended up being quite surprised. It turns out that this particular dollar store had an electronics and computers section. Now mind you, you won't find RAM, CPUs, HDDs or anything that significant there, but the did have headsets and microphones. I purchased a computer microphone (CHATEAU CM-001) for $2. I brought it home, plugged it in, adjusted a few settings in Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel and Voila! It worked like a charm and the quality isn't that bad especially for two dollars.Have you ever purchased electronics or computer equipment from the Dollar Store? What's your best find?

On it were printed the words: Fishing off Goa.
Clever Guest laughed."Actually", he said, "My father is dead"!It had been a tricky question! The salesman, carefully chosen for his ability to think fast on his feet, immediately replied that he was sorry the answer was unsatisfactory, but as computers were precise, perhaps he might care to rephrase his question and try again?Clever Guest thought, went to the Computer and this time said, "Where is my mother's husband?"Again there was a whirring of wheels and a flashing of lights. And again a...
