| Can computers ever replace teachers? | | Do you think in the future computers will completely replace teachers?Even today I think many students learn vast amounts of information from the internet.
Many times a teacher can also make a mistake,while a computer never makes a mistake.
If a computer does the checking of answer scripts,then the marks given to all the students will also be more scientific and fair.Yes,teachers have that personal touch but what if computers are developed with the artificial intelligence of a patient,caring teacher?So what is your personal opinion? Do you rather think that computers can only replace the 'bad' teachers but never the 'best' teachers?

| Anyone good with computers here? | | I work from home for a company in another country. I used to be able to work with Internet Explorer but now they say I have to use Firefox. Fine, I installed it and its going alright. Im getting used to it.....BUT I have a bit of a problem with it and even though I asked my question on the Firefox forum, nobody answered me.I need to have a sound when the page refreshes. It does in Internet Explorer but NOT in Firefox and its driving me insane to not have a sound. It means that I dont know when I have to work.Can someone PLEASE help me with this? | |
